Dr Yasmin Endlich
Dr Yasmin Endlich is the current chair of the Australian Airway Management Special Interest Group and the Australian Airway Lead. She is also an executive member of the Australian and New Zealand Tripartite Anaesthetic Data Committee.
She is a senior anaesthetic consultant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and a senior paediatric anaesthetist at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, in South Australia. She is a staff specialist for Adelaide Anaesthetic Services and a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Adelaide.
Her interests include managing the difficult airway in paediatric and adult patients, including the use of ultrasound in airway management, anaesthesia for trauma and maxillofacial procedures, perioperative medicine and anaesthetic incidence reporting and evaluation.
She has been leading a multicentre airway incident audit involving hospitals across Australia and New Zealand, has published on airway incidents in anaesthesia, enjoys teaching and lectures on airway management at national and international conferences.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband Christian and their children Sarah and David.
